CELEBRATE BEING
AND BECOMING A WOMAN
Honouring rites of passage at the yurt
Women’s rites of passage are blood rites. I am dedicated to honouring women at all phases and stages of their lives, and re-weaving sacred ceremonies into the fabric of our lives and communities.
Menarche: She blooms!
Hold your daughter in the gentle womb of the yurt with her friends and your soul family, as we celebrate her becoming.
In this 2.5 hour ceremony, we remember how women sit together, support each other, and we honour you daughter’s bleed as her own sacred initiation within your family lineage.
An experienced teacher, mother, and menarche educator through the School of Shamanic Womancraft, I will hold gentle space for this special time.
Mother’s Blessing (Blessingway)
The journey to becoming a mother and bringing a child earthside is a spiritual experience, and once a mother, we will never return to our maiden self.
Honour your dearest friend with a blessing way that acknowledges this bridge between maiden and mother, and the mother as sacred creatrix who has access to the cosmic womb.
In this 3 hour ceremonial space, we will sing, drum, weave, hear story, and celebrate her becoming together.
Held (tending to the new mother)
Once motherhood arrives, we gather to show the woman the love and support available to her. To nourish her, shower her and her child/ren with love, and commit to being a circle of support.
This is a ceremony that honours exactly what this woman needs, at this time. We will develop this ceremony together to ensure your soul sister receives what will enliven and nourish her.
The Crowning (Welcoming elder hood)
In this ceremony, we embrace elderhood as a wonderful becoming, honouring the woman in your life who has turned 70 or is over 70, who you would like to shower with love and honour for their wisdom and place in your family.
In this ceremony, we delve into story and herbal lore, and remembering the path of the elder as empowered, wise and sacred.
love notes
I was held in complete and total empowerment, specifically in relation to my transition journey. It was the first time I felt fully seen, and supported by another space holder.
